Trade Minister Trump chooses promises to sell all his commercial interests if confirmed

President Donald Trump’s candidate for the Minister of Commerce, billionaire Howard Lottenic, says he will sell all his commercial interests if he is confirmed to prevent any conflict of interests.

Lootnick, CEO of the investment company in Fitzgeral, said during the investment period during his confirmation session on Wednesday before the Senate Committee for Trade, Science and Transport.

“I have worked with the government’s ethics office, and we have reached an agreement on how to do this, and I will abstract within 90 days of confirmation,” he told the committee. “So I should not have any commercial interests, and therefore there is no conflict of interests.”
