Change Change will be held on June 26 and June 27 in New York under the topic of “Design for Tomorrow”.
This event will be held at the Parsons Design School in New York City, and the group has made a call this week to speakers and prizes until February 5.
More than two decades ago, the G4C Festival was the main global event for gathering gaming developers, creators, teachers and social innovators who believe in the power of games and overwhelming media to push change in the real world.
Under the topic “Design for Tomorrow”, the festival will explore how games and overwhelming media can enhance cooperation across generations, perspectives and sectors. During the two -day festival, the attendees will participate in both tools, paintings, workshops and communication opportunities that focus on three basic paths: games, learning, sovereignty, social issues, health and luxury. XR programming will be combined in all tracks.
New this year, G4C will host a major study chain on June 25, as it will lead industry leaders and game design experts in -depth educational sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from prominent games professionals as they share their experience on topics such as developing the game on the platform, playing and designing, and financing. These carefully sponsored sessions are specially designed for the G4C community.
The Change Games Awards will celebrate on June 26, the cornerstone of the festival, will celebrate the excellence in social impact games and the overwhelming media. The most important groups include, the best in innovation, the best narration, among other things. This year, a new category award ceremony presents “Best Plastic Project”, with recognition of influential games and overwhelming expertise created inside applied games platform Meaningful social.
“For 22 years, the Change Games Festival was a meeting for innovation across sectors in games and overwhelming media,” Susanna Pollack, Chair of Change Games, said in a statement. “With the continued development of our industry, we are expanding our programs to meet the moment. The new Masterclass series and the improved prize program reflects our sector growth and excitement. We are happy to return to Parsons, where we can build on this momentum and enhance the next wave of cooperation and innovation.”
Pollack was the Emcee in the last Gamesbeat Insider series: Hollywood and Games Event in December, and she is a frequent speaker in how games can accomplish a lot of social things that go beyond entertainment.

The previous twenty -first annual festival in New York “2030: a incentive for global change”, brings together more than 150 speakers from 12 countries. The event united 2,300 people personally and visible for 65 conversations and workshops. Besides New York, our separation festivals in Africa, Asia, India, Turkey and Latin America have expanded their global impact, and linked change makers across continents.
The group also hosted the second annual games summit and the SDG summit at the United Nations, with 180 leaders to photograph new partnerships and lead implementable solutions.
Change games also added new board members: Benjamin Golant: Senior Director of the Global Game Policy in Tennintsin, American; Samir Al -Jaili: Chairman of the Board; Mark Stanley: Gaming Collective Founder, Planet Playing Consultant, and Defending Games to face global challenges.
Last year, the Games for Change’s Impact report, it contains 21 festivals, 86 G4C Awards, five G4C international classes, 22 international event, and 58,000 students amounted to 75 % of the first title students.
