President Donald Trump said on Monday that he stops for one month, his new introduction by 25 % on the goods imported from Mexico after the president of that country agreed to send 10,000 soldiers immediately to the American border to prevent drug trafficking from Mexico.
Trump said on a social media site that during a stoppage period “we will have negotiations” on customs duties “headed by Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen, Trade Minister Howard Lottenic, and high -ranking Mexico representatives.”
“I look forward to participating in these negotiations, with President (Claudia) Shinbom, where we are trying to achieve a” deal “between the two countries,” Trump wrote.
The announcement of a temporary stop was two days after Trump was slapped on a 25 % tariff on the goods from Mexico and Canada, as well as a 10 % tariff on the goods imported from China.
American stocks, which opened the minimum trading on Monday, have regained most of those losses on stopping news.
Trump said at his social position that Shinbum spoke Monday morning before the announcement of the temporary suspension.
Both he and Chenebum said that the 10,000 Mexican National Guard forces they send to the border with the United States will get the task of stopping drug trafficking from Mexico, especially those in the deadly opioid fentanel.
Trump also wrote that the Mexican forces would aim to stop the flow of “migrants to our country”.
Scott Bessin and Marco Rubio arrived at the sixtieth opening ceremony, when Donald Trump will be sworn as president 47 on January 20, 2025, in Capitol Rotonda, Washington, DC.

Sheinbauum revealed for the first time the temporary suspension in a post on the social media site X.
“We have had a good conversation with President Trump with great respect for our relationship and sovereignty; we have reached a series of agreements.”
She also wrote, “The United States is committed to working to prevent trafficking with high -energy weapons to Mexico.”
Trump did not mention a commitment to stop the flow of weapons in his social position about his conversation with Shinbom.
