Tehran, Iran – US President Donald Trump soon restarted his campaign to pressure against Iran while emphasizing that he does not want Laurent to be a nuclear weapon.
The Iranian authorities have indicated that they do not intend to surrender, and that the country’s official policy of not pursuing a nuclear bomb is still in place, but they left the way for dialogue.
Let’s take a look at the complex condition of about seven years after Trump initially started the “maximum pressure” path, the policy kept by Tehran was a failure.
On Tuesday, Trump claimed that he was hesitant – for unannounced reasons – to shed light on a new pressure campaign against Iran, but he promised to lift Iranian oil sanctions to “zero”.
At the same time, he stressed that his only priority is that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon.
When asked about the alleged Iranian attempts to kill him for revenge because of his order to assassinate General Al -Qasim Soleimani in 2020, Trump said he had left instructions to Iran “blur” if he himself was removed.
On Tuesday, the US President signed a presidential memorandum of national security to impose the utmost pressure on Iran’s policy. The memo lacked many details about the “maximum pressure”, but Trump hinted that the measures would be difficult, saying that it is “torn” and “unhappy” in signing it, adding that he hopes “he will not have” to use it on any great scale Absolutely.
In May 2018, during his first term in office, Trump abandoned the Iranian nuclear deal unilaterally with the global powers that bordered the nuclear program for Branan in exchange for removing some sanctions and hanging others.
In a post on his social novel, the US president said he wanted Iran to be a great and successful country, but it is one without nuclear weapons.
“Reports that the United States, which is working in conjunction with Israel, will give Iran to Smithins, largely exaggerated,” says the post.
He also described the “Nuclear Peace Agreement” that would lead to celebrations in the Middle East.
JCPOA’s joint action plan (JCPOA) has developed a teacher agreement signed between Iran and P5+1 (the United States, China, Russia, the United Kingdom, France and Germany) in 2015 after years of negotiations, difficult limits on the Iranian nuclear program in an exchange of United Nations sanctions.
She put a 3.67 percent 3.67 percent roof to enriching uranium on Iran, largely restricted its inventory of low-enriched uranium, and limited spread to the expulsion of centrifugation into the first generation IR-1 models, and convert the main Fordow enrichment station to a search center. It also presented heavy water and plutonium restrictions, banned new enrichment facilities, and one of the most striking nuclear inspection systems around the world.
Trump, who is chanting by Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, withdrew unilaterally from the deal without providing an alternative, and imposed US sanctions at all on Iran.
The overwhelming sanctions imposed during the first period of Trump included the entire Iranian economy, and not even left during the Covid-19 pandemic, when Iran was severely injured.
The administration of former US President Joe Biden also accumulated on the sanctions, but it was constantly accused of its Republican competitors of being indifferent to the field of implementation as it was participating in indirect talks to revive JCPOA – which has been a coma since then but was not officially killed. The main sunset condition ends in October this year, as the United States and the European Union stripped the ability to quickly restore United Nations sanctions by stimulating the “Snapback” mechanism in JCPOA.
The Iranian economy, which began stability after the partial relief provided by the nuclear agreement, was thrown into a disturbance over the years due to the sanctions.
Tens of millions of Mediterranean people continue to see their purchasing power, which is diminishing daily amid outbreak, as the national currency has reached its lowest level at about 840,000 Rials per US dollar in the open market this week. This rate was less than 40,000 riyals per US dollar before the sanctions.
Iran continues to deal with the remaining energy crisis, which witnessed an intermittent closure of major services throughout the country, and has contributed greatly to dangerous levels of air pollution, especially in the capital.
But it seems that the Trump team amounts to reducing billions of dollars in Iranian tanks through strict enforcement of the sanctions system in Washington, and imposing new names.
Possible plans can include targeting the so -called “ghost fleet” of Iranian ships, which often work with their respondents, and fly flags and registration in the third countries in order to transport crude oil miserable.
This may mean that the United States seizes more ships, which Iran described as “piracy” and revenge by confiscated ships as well.
Washington is also likely to consider pressure on China, as it has been the largest Iranian oil buyer for years. But with Trump’s references, he is ready for another trade war with Beijing, his plans to push Iranian crude exports to “zero” looks outfit.
Iran has one of the largest oil reserves that have proven its usefulness in the world, and is a founding member of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which represents some of the largest oil producers in the world. On Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Bezishkan urged members of OPEC to the union against potential US sanctions at a meeting with the head of the organization in Tehran.
The middle president, who won elections in July after the death of his militant predecessor Ibrahim Risi in a helicopter accident, said that his administration would try to deepen relations with neighbors and other partners in overcoming the sanctions.
“It can be achieved and not a difficult issue,” said Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi.
Muhammad Islami, the Iranian nuclear president, said that Trump’s insistence on a bomb “explains what is clear.”
He said: “We have announced that we do not continue and will not continue nuclear weapons, and we are still involved” with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
Government spokeswoman Fatim Muhajrani specifically commented on the possibility of direct talks with the United States, or a meeting of Bzchian Trump, saying only that Tehran’s foreign policy is based on “three principles of dignity, wisdom and effectiveness.”
After years of revenge against the Israeli sabotage attacks on its nuclear facilities and the western decisions issued by the International Atomic Energy Agency Council, Iran is now 60 percent enrichment, which is a short technical step to 90 percent required for the bomb.
It also has enough splitting materials for multiple bombs, according to the global nuclear clock and Western intelligence, but she did not make any effort to build a nuclear weapon already.
Last month, Iranian diplomats participated in the consultations with European powers aimed at achieving an understanding of the nuclear issue and more, with both sides agreeing that they will get more talks soon.
In the wake of the fall of former President Bashar al -Assad in Syria and the blow with which it dealt with the “Tehran resistance axis”, the Iranian armed forces retained large -scale military exercises, which are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
The training mostly focused on air defense, but also included the unveiling of offensive capabilities, such as an underground rocket base including a group of projectiles capable of reaching Israel, a new drone transmission, and quick boats capable of carrying anti -ship missiles.
