The Cabinet has approved the continuation and restructuring of the central sector plan, “India’s skill program” until 2026, with a budget of 800 rupees for the period from 2022-23 to 2025-26.

During a press conference, Federation Minister Ashwini Vishnawa confirmed that this decision highlights the government’s dedication to developing a skilled and ready -made workforce in the future through training that depends on demand, technology empowerment, and training at the level of industry at the country level.

Pradhan Mantry Kushal Vikas Yogana 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0), the National Vocational Programming Plan Pradhan Mantry (PM-NAPS), and the Jan Shikshan Sanshan (JSS) scheme in the framework of the central sector plan.

“Pradhan Mantry Coshle Vikas Yogana 4.0 (PMKVY 4.0), the National Industrial Promotion Plan Prades, and the Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS)-the three main components, is now combined under the central central sector of its plan for its plan of the Indian skill program,” The Federation Minister Ashwini Fishnawa added.

“These initiatives aim to provide organized skill development, training during work, and community -based learning, ensuring that both urban population and rural people, including marginalized societies, can access high -quality vocational education,” Fishnaw said.

Bradhan Mantry Coshle Vikas Yogana 4.0

The PMKVY 4.0 initiative provides NSQF skills development through short -term training (STT), including SPOs, Resills and ResKING by identifying previous learning (RPL) for individuals between 15 and 59. PMKVY 4.0 has been renovated to ensure that skills training towards industry, in line with national priorities, and can be more accessible.

One of the main changes in the program is to integrate training during work (OJT) in short -term skills, providing participants with practical experience and exposure to industry practices. To meet the advanced needs of various industries and progress in technology, more than 400 new rounds have been added in artificial intelligence technology, 5G technology, cybersecurity, green hydrogen, and drone technology, with a focus on emerging technologies and basic skills for the future.
