Ang Postecoglou, director of Tottenham Hotspur, handed over a worrying update about Mickey Van de Din’s fitness before the FA Cup on Sunday with Aston Villa.
Dutch Dynamo has struggled in Spears throughout the campaign due to injuries and appeared only 12 games for the club this season. One of them came against Elsburg in the European League in late January two months after the margin with the knee string.
Van De Ven appeared only in the first half of European victory 3-0, and the matches later missed Brentford and Liverpool – which raised concerns among Tottenham supporters due to another long absence.
Postecoglou also confirmed that the 23 -year -old will not be available to the Fourth FA Cup tie in Villa Park, admitting: “Maybe Micky will be some slow stove.”
Tottenham coach began to clarify that other members of his team are closer to returning from their injuries in the coming weeks.
The Australian said: “Those who certainly approach men like (Guglielmo) Vicario, Destiny (Udogie), Wilson (Odobert), Madders (James Maddison) and Brennan (Johnson) along.
“They must all return by mid -week next week in terms of training, or in the next week. During the next two weeks, they should all be available.”
Tottenham was very unfortunate with fitness problems this season and their defense was particularly affected. The absence of Van Din felt very much, while the likes of Christian Romero, Rado Dragosin and Destiny Udogie are the shoulders of the shoulders in the treatment room today.
Spears signed a new center during the transfer window in January, where he hired lens defender Kevin Dansu on a preliminary loan deal. The Austrian appeared for the first time during a 4-0 defeat against Liverpool in the middle of the week, which Tottenham witnessed missing in the Carabau Cup final.
