“There is no need” for the predecessor to access the classified information.
US President Donald Trump has announced that he is canceling the arrival of former President Joe Biden to intelligence in the latest act of revenge against his competitors.
Trump said on Friday that “there is no need” to maintain his “security statements” and that he was taking the action in response to a similar step by Democrat against him.
“This was a precedent in 2021, when he issued instructions to the intelligence community (IC) to stop the forty -fifth president of the United States (me!) On the social truth,” Trump said in a post.
Trump also suggested that Piden could not be trusted with sensitive information after a report on his dealings with his predecessor for materials classified by private lawyer Robert Hor, describing the memory of democracy as “mysterious” and has “great restrictions.
Trump added in capitals: “Joe,” Joe, you are divorced. “
Stephen Chiong, the White House Communications Manager, shared the position of Trump from the advertisement on X, adding: “Jack hit the road and don’t return anymore!”
American presidents do not require security permits and they have access to the information classified by their position.
The former presidents traditionally received intelligence, on request, although the arrival is provided according to the assessment of the current president and there is no official security permit.
Biden did not immediately comment on Trump’s move.
Soon after assuming his post, Biden said that Trump should not get intelligence to reach because of his efforts to cancel the results of the 2020 presidential elections, and reached its climax on January 6, 2021, from riots in the Capitol in the United States.
“I just think he does not need to get intelligence,” Biden said at the time in an interview with CBS News.
“What is the value that it gives to an intelligence? What is its effect at all, unlike the fact that it might slip and say something?”
Trump was charged with four criminal charges about his efforts to cancel the results of the vote, including conspiracy to defraud the United States and conspire against the rights of citizens, before the prosecutors fell with many other prosecutions he was facing after his re -election.
The Trump administration has removed security permits for dozens of critics and competitors since it took office on January 20.
Among them are Mark Millie, a retired army general who described the Republicans as “fascist in the heart”, and more than 50 former intelligence officials who signed a letter suggested wrongly that emails from the laptop in Hunter Biden were part of the Russian misleading information campaign .
The Republican also canceled the security details of the former colleagues who fell in his interest, including former Foreign Minister Mike Bombo and former National Security Adviser John Bolton.
