Liverpool Virgil Van Dyck’s agents were seen in the stands in the semi -finals of the Carabau Reds Cup at Tottenham Hotspur.
Van Dijk is in the last six months of his contract with Liverpool and found himself linked to a full group of European giants, and increasing speculation has sparked much anxiety among supporters.
Barcelona is the latest team that finds itself linked to Van Dick, who was mentioned as a possible goal for Real Madrid, and the Dutch recently stressed that there is no truth to the rumors that he already agreed to expand the Liverpool contract.
However, there is still hope that Liverpool will be able to connect Van Dyck with new terms after his agents were monitored alongside red sports director Richard Hughes in the middle of the week to watch Liverpool advanced to the Carabau Cup final at the expense of Tottenham.

“It is true that Virgil Van Dick’s agents were sitting next to Liverpool’s football manager, Richard Hughes, in the match against Tottenham,” he said. “There is still a very good conversation, and a very good relationship between Liverpool and Virgil Van Dyck’s agents.
“At the present time, the decision has not been taken yet. But the talks continue.”
