The center Robin Dias in Manchester City claimed that he and his colleagues “have everything we need to be able to take care of him” Vinicius Junior and his teammate Real Madrid when the two clubs in the Champions League collide on Tuesday night.
Pep Guardiola is not very confident.
DIAS may be part of a costly rear line not only Veniceus, but also Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham. This noble quadruple includes 60 goals between them in all competitions this season.
Despite her tremendous reputation, Dias was not upset.
“When you reach this level of the Champions League, this is what you get from Madrid or anyone else,” he told Assolbed Media on Monday. “We know that they have the special ability to be more flexible, perhaps than most other teams, which is why we should be really good and more solid in the back.
“The more solid, the more comfortable we are in the game.”
The city is not strangers to reach Real Madrid. This is the fifth time in six seasons that the European giants have closed centuries in the Champions League.
When you face a particularly strong threat to Veniceus, Guardiola previously managed to rely on the experience and speed of Kyle Walker. This is no longer an option after leaving the loan to Milan.
Dias admitted that the leader of the previously adopted team was a “player who all relied on him” and a person “one of them always appeared and appeared his face”, but he insisted that the city still had “options” to threaten Madrid.
“We are not thinking about one player alone, those individual eruptions will be important, but they will be collective procedures, and how we play as a group. We have everything we need to be able to take care of it.”
Guardiola was a completely different opinion. “It is impossible in 90/120/200 minutes to control these players,” the coach of the city admitted. “It is exceptional – how they collect, the contestants, the ability to one against one, and how they keep the ball, all the four exceptions. Everyone knows that, so you have to reduce this post as much as possible, knowing that it will go to happen, accept it.”
DIAS and the rest of the city’s defense will have the opportunity to prove their manager’s mistake when Madrid travels to Al -Ittihad to the Tuesday night match before the decisive reverse match next week.
