At least 19 people have been killed by Israeli forces since it increased the deadly raids after Gaza stopped two weeks ago.
Two Palestinians were killed by the Israeli forces in Jenin Governorate in the occupied West Bank, thus the total number of people who have been killed in the area since the main attack began about two weeks ago to 19.
The Palestinians were shot dead by the Israeli forces late Thursday during the Israeli army operation inside the Jenin refugee camp, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
The Wafa News Agency identified the two men in the name of Yazan Hatem Al -Hassan and Amir Abu Hassan.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that it had received three middle -aged Palestinian women in Jenin, who were shocked by an Israeli air strike on a building in the refugee camp.
On Wednesday, during a visit to the refugee camp, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the attack was aimed at destroying the “terrorist infrastructure”, adding that after the completion of the operation, the Israeli army will remain in the camp.
The last Israeli assault in Jenin followed the army’s announcement on Thursday that one of its soldiers was killed in the occupied territories.
On Tuesday, two Palestinian youths were killed in the same area by the Israeli forces. 10 other Palestinians were killed in a plane strike in Ramallah on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, the Israeli forces launched a major attack in the Jenin area, which was called the “Iron Wall”, immediately after the announcement of the ceasefire in Gaza.
On Thursday evening, two Palestinian children were wounded at Israeli shooting in the town of Al -Khadir, south of Bethlehem, who were injured in their feet.
A 23 -year -old Palestinian man was injured by the Israeli shooting during a raid in the town of Ubidia, east of Bethlehem.
In addition, the Israeli forces stormed the dwarfa area from the boundary and fired tear gas and thunderbolt bombs, causing many civilians suffering from suffocation due to the inhalation of gas, according to WAFA.
On Thursday, Palestinian Prime Minister Mohamed Mostafa described what is happening in the occupied West Bank as “a systematic effort to destroy the foundations of the Palestinian state.”
“We are witnessing military incursions into the governor of the northern West Bank, accompanied by death, detention, destruction of infrastructure, and the demolition of homes and structures. This requires urgent international measure to end this matter.”
Regardless of its full military assault on Gaza, Israel is also carried out a parallel military attack throughout the occupied West Bank since October 2023.
Since then, Israeli forces and settlers have killed at least 880 Palestinians through the occupied West Bank.
