“Hanging in the traffic for 19 hours”: The American Travel Blog Maha Kumbh Mema is absent, and he started waiting for 144 years

The US travel blog, Drew Bensky, known for exploring cultural experiences all over the world, found a 19 -hour traffic, and eventually lost Maha Kumbh Mema 2025 in Prayagraj. Despite the planning for the trip for more than a year, he was unable to reach the holy event, which will not happen again 144 years ago.

In his frustration on Instagram, Binsky described the chaotic scenes that Roodblocks, Marricades, traffic to bumper, smoky fog and closing. “Sometimes it absorbs travel. Today I failed to reach Kumbh Mela – the largest gathering in human history with 400 million people to dip in the holy rivers in northern India.”

Return decision

Binsky revealed that at one time, he had the option to walk 21 km with his bags in cold weather but chose to stay in the car with his driver instead. “The only way to reach Kumbh Mema is walking with my bags in cold weather, which I decided not to do. So I grew in the car with drivers, and now we are trying to get out of here.”

For the first time since 2017, when he began making travel videos, Binsky admitted that he had failed to complete a story. “Since 2017, I have done 1,200 video clips, and this is the first time that I have already failed to shoot the story. This hurts that you miss the next time the next time this event will happen 144 years from now.”

Mixed reactions online

The publication raised divided opinions on social media. Some users sympathize with his struggle, while others questioned his lack of preparation for such a huge event. Some have suggested to wait a few days and try again, as Maha Kumbh Mela will continue for weeks.

Before that, Binsky had previously occupied newspaper headlines in India after criticizing the Air India business category in the Instagram viral publication.
