A new study revealed that the Americans drink less wine than before – and the doctor told the Fox News Digital that he was not surprised by this direction at all.
The data collected by wholesalers and lives from American Sipsource found that wine sales decreased by about 8 % in 2024 compared to 2023.
Low wine sales include sales in restaurants and wine stores, according to the report, which was published in early January.

Wine sales decreased by 7.9 %, “less than a 1.3 % decrease in a 1.3 % decrease,” according to the SIPSource report.
The report said: “I dreamed of eating 55.6 % of local wine revenues, but it is late for the growth of the night canal and half a point and a half, which carries a 15 % stake in local wine sales,” the report said.

“The food channel faces great challenges for wine and lives,” the report said.
“While consumers are increasingly turning towards purchases outside the borders and other alternatives, the sector is struggling to recover.”

Dr. Raj Dasjtta from California Fox News told the digital that this news is somewhat expected because the Americans drink completely less.
“I have seen more people realizing the health risks associated with alcohol, and this most likely contributes to lower wine consumption,” said Dasopta, who specializes in internal medicine with Huntington Health in Los Angeles.
