Fit! Met Gala reveals the bases of the dress and the list of celebrities

Met gala guests, lawsuit!

This was the arrangement of ON High, where the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York City revealed the dress law for the annual celebration of fashion in May: “Designed for You”, a reference to the focus of the accompanying exhibition on prosecution and men.

It is a suitable concept – intended to be interpreted freely, of course – at the first Met Met exhibition more than 20 years ago to focus exclusively on men’s clothes, especially the black style in men’s clothes over the centuries.

The Met’s Fashion Institute also announced on Tuesday that it will revive what was called a long tradition from the “host committee”-basically a new list of prominent celebrities at the head of the hosts previously announced: Pharrel Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Coleman Domingo, A $ AP Rocky and Lebron James. (Vogue Editor Anna Wintour, who supervises the party every year, comes out of the list.)

The new committee includes a large group of stars from various fields: athletes Simon Perus and husband Jonathan Owens, Angel Rais and Shukar Richardson; Film makers Sabi Lee, Tonya Louis Louis Lewis; Actors Ayu Edbiri, Odera McDonald and Jeremy Bob; Musicians Duchs, Ochar, Tyila, Janil Monai and Andre 3000; Author Chimamanda Ngzi Adichie; Artists Jordan Castel, Rashid Johnson and Kan Walker; Theatrical authors Jeremy or Harris and Branden Jacobs Jenkins; Fashion numbers Grace Wales Boner, Edward Evevel, Dabar Dan and Olivier Rossiting.

Celebrity Chef Kwame onwuachi will create the list of the party. The mass donation of the fashion institute, which is the annual event – which last year brought a record amount of more than $ 26 million – launches the Spring Gallery.

This year, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, will continue for a longer period of previous offers in six months, inspired by the Monica L. Miller book Obaid Fashion: Black Black and Black Sitti Identity Design.

“The topic this year is not only at the appropriate time, but also talks about our rich culture that must always be celebrated on a large scale.”

“Our style is not only what we wear – how do we move, how we have our space, and how to tell our story without saying a word,” Richardson added. Both members of the host committee spoke in a MET statement.

Among the artists who contribute to the TORKWASE DYSON exhibition design, which will use “Hypershapes” to create huge independent sculptures, or “architectural areas”.

The artist Ike Audi, the exhibition advisor, will photograph a section that highlights Julius Sobies, one of the first black bets to challenge the standards of society in London in the eighteenth century.

The exhibition will be divided into 12 parts, each of which represents a feature that defines the “dandy” method: ownership, existence, discrimination, disguise, freedom, hero, respect, heritage, beauty, cold and international.

The Met party will be held on May 5. Superfine: The black pattern will be opened for the public from May 10 to October 26.
