Legislators vote to send insulation materials against Doterti to the Senate for trial.
Philippine Vice President Sarah Duttri was isolated by the House of Representatives in the Congress after the lawmakers, many of whom were the allies of President Ferdinand Marcus Junior, to seek to remove her from his position.
While the details were not revealed, the dismissal vote on Wednesday follows a series of complaints accused of Dutti of crimes ranging from misuse of public funds to the assassination of Marcus’s assassination. The former allies have turned opponents
For years, Dotty was preparing for her controversial father, Rodrigo, as president, but in the end she crossed Marcus, as she ran the vice president on his ticket. Together, they won the victory of the ground collapse in 2022.
