“There is nothing that will fly”: Palestinians respond to Trump’s plan to take over, to rebuild Gaza

US President Donald Trump stadium seized and re -development the Gaza Strip after its inhabitants permanently removed with a unified anger and anxiety from the Palestinians in Gaza on Wednesday.

Trump raised the possibility of transporting more than two million Palestinians living there during a visit to Washington on Tuesday by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He suggested that he became unbalanced after nearly 16 months of war between Israel and Hamas.

Hanan El -Shennawi said that despite the instability and an unclear future for the Palestinians who remain in Gaza, they refuse to leave their lands.

Al -Shennawi, 22, from the west of Gaza City, said: “We will not allow this because this is our country and our lands. We will remain steadfast here … and we will not hand this land,” said Al -Shennawi, 22, from the west of Gaza City.

Al -Shennawi said that she does not expect the Arab countries behind the Palestinians to stand in rejecting the plan, which, if enforced, will come out of international law.

“The Arab nations have not stopped with us since the beginning of the war, so they will not stand with us now in the end and in the face of Trump,” said Mohamed El Seif, video photographer of CBC Freelance Mohamder. Wednesday.

“They (Israel) allowed our displacement from north to south, so it is normal for us to show us outside the Gaza Strip.”

Trump’s latest comments to convert Gaza to “Riviera in the Middle East” after resettlement of the Palestinians elsewhere, destroyed the United States’ policy on the Israeli -Palestinian conflict and sparked widespread condemnation.

Fears of forced displacement

Muhammad Abu Musa, 26, said that he worries that Trump’s plan for Gaza will advance and he and his family would have to resort to other countries.

Abu Musa said: “The development in Gaza will not be for its residents, of course.” Why is it forced its residents to develop? Let the residents benefit from it.

He said, “The tape (Gaza) is the only place that is evident from the (Israeli) occupation. These are 360 (square) kilometers. If it does not remain (), the Palestinian issue will collapse.”

Trump wants us to have, redevelopment of Gaza

During a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump said he wanted to see the United States possessing the Gaza Strip, developing it to “Riviera in the Middle East” and transporting the Palestinians who live there permanently.

He called on other Arab countries to reject the Trump plan, adding that “if they have been stabbed, they have also stabbed.”

Trump previously talked about the transfer of the Palestinian population in Gaza to other countries and has repeatedly described Gaza as a “demolition site.”

“We have cleaned this entire,” Trump told reporters of the first air force on January 25.

“Nothing but pressure”

Meanwhile, others did not think that Trump’s words bear any weight.

Taher Al -Najjar, 30, said that Trump’s plan is “nonsense” and does not expect to affect the Palestinians.

Al -Najjar said: “These are just empty words. We were in a 15 -month war (month), bombing and death, and people were not displaced … There is nothing that will be removed.”

“If we are seeking, there is no Palestinian reason because we will be refugees.”

Abdullah Al -Ghafri, 27, chanted this feeling.

“This is nothing but pressure,” Al -Ghafri said.

He said that Palestinian relations with their lands will not allow them to abandon them for any reason, pointing to how the residents from northern Gaza return to their homes from the south once they are allowed.

“People have left their things, their blankets, all they collected for the past year … they left them in the south and returned to the north,” he said.

“This indicates the link to the ground. The person is attached to his land, returned home alone and returned to his home to start from scratch.”

Forced deportation violates international law

On Wednesday, the United Nations Human Rights Office (UNFER) said that any forced transfer in or deporting people from occupied lands violating international law.

“It is very important that we move towards the next stage of the ceasefire, the release of all hostages and prisoners arbitrarily detained, ending the war and rebuilding Gaza, with full respect for international humanitarian law and international human rights law.” statement.

“Any enforced transfer in or deporting people from the occupied territories is strictly prohibited,” she said.

Hala Abu Daba said that the Palestinians will remain in Gaza and refuse to leave.

“We choose to stay here until our last breath. This is our country and we cannot leave it (under any) conditions.”

“He must know that we will not leave our country and have to delete this idea from his mind.”

Abu Ahmad al -Dawar, 44, said that he was “impotence” after he learned of Trump’s plan.

“We reject this decision … after nearly 60,000 (people), a martyr, wounded and emergency workers, and now they want to remove us,” he said.

The six -week -long truce, agreed with Egyptian and Qatari brokers supported by the United States, remained greatly sound, but the possibilities of solid settlement are unclear.

More than 47,000 Palestinians were killed by Israel in the 15 -month war, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza. Due to the chaos of the war, checking the exact number of losses was a challenge and a scrutiny. The Palestinian Civil Defense said it was looking for nearly 10,000 bodies believed to remain under the rubble.

The coastal pocket was largely demolished by the Israeli army in the wake of the attack on Israel led by Hamas on October 7, 2023. This attack was killed 1,200 people with about 250 hostages who were transferred to Gaza, according to the Israeli.
