The PCB Cricket plate (PCB) shared a video clip showing the Gaddafi Stadium, which was renewed in Lahore, just three weeks before the International Criminal Champions Cup 2025. The video of the newly renewed Gaddafi stadium comes amid speculation about Pakistan’s willingness to host the next tournament.
Pakistan is scheduled to host the upcoming ICC event. The three main places – the National Stadium in Karachi, the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and the Rawalbandy Stadium – are still under construction and promotions. All three places should be completed and handed over to the International Criminal Court by February 1.

Gaddafi Stadium is scheduled to be delivered to ICC For Champions Trophy 2025 on February 11
The Pakistani Cricket Council announced that the famous Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be handed over to the International Criminal Court on February 11, a few weeks before the start of the ODI Champions Cup. Delivery will occur after the Pakistan triple chain against New Zealand and South Africa.
The International Criminal Court has set January 31 on the deadline for the delivery of all three places – Gaddafi Stadium, the National Stadium in Karachi, and the Rawalpindi Stadium – which will host the championship in Pakistan.
