The government ends the features of the social security plan for the party workers, which is likely to be transferred to the Union government for approval soon. This step, if it passes, will provide a safety network for the emerging workforce in India, many of which have occupied these jobs due to a lack of job opportunities.
According to the sources, the Ministry of Labor is holding discussions with party workers ’associations, online compounds and state governments, and puts the finishing touches on the features of the scheme, which will be based on a contribution from 1 % to 2 % based on each platform that works with it.
It has also been announced in the Federation’s budget, each Gig will be registered at the E-SHRAM portal at the Ministry of Labor and a global account number consisting of 12 numbers (UAN) will be set. The Social Security Law, 2020, which has not yet been implemented, states that the appropriate social security measures are framing for workers in disturbing and platform workers for life and impotence, accident insurance, health, and aging protection.
