Hilberg, small, It was a modest Swedish company, quietly offered some of the most shelters that you can buy for decades. AKTO was first released in 1995 and only one change in design in all these years. That is why Hilleberg has something to follow. Hilleberg tents are also expensive, which always left me wondering, “Do they deserve it?”
To find out that, you have sent me Hilleberg an increasing tent of four season, one person, similar to the Akto stabbing. With the retail price of $ 740 (although you can find it for a lower sale), it is not cheap, but after using it for about two weeks this fall until the winter, I think it is completely worth money. AKTO is the best tent I used ever with a very wide margin. It is not perfect, but it is the best single tent you can buy, and I am completely sure that it is the only nylon thing that may have a snapshot to make our life guide.

Akto was a pioneering tent when it reached the scene in 1995. (To return to it, the name means “alone” in the SAMI language, the indigenous population in the Northern Scandinavian countries.) At that time, almost no one made four- tents of one person, Nobody used silicone silicon-now the standard fabric of light tents-and no one made a tents of a collar. Fast forward until today, and while a large part of the external industry now makes such things (for example, Tarptent’s Scarpa 1Akto remains more or less than the same tent. When something works, do not mess with it. (Although technically, Hilleberg added a small ventilation hole cover over the flying door at some point, and I am happy that they did so. This is my favorite feature.)
Enough of history, let’s get into the tent. Unless you use Cottage Industry Ultralight tents, it is possible that it is completely different from most of the back tents that you used.
There are two things that distinguish Akto Hilberg. The first is the design similar to the collar. The other thing that makes this tent different is the tissue, which is more stringent and lighter (albeit not light) than most of the other tents that you tested. More on that below.
Akto is not a tug. The design consists of one curved column in the middle of the tent, such as a covered vehicle collar. Then the ends are out of the curved center pole, with two shares at each end. There are some advantages for a stand -alone design, such as the ability to move the tent easily after preparing it. But after spending the time with Akto and other unintended designs, I found that I am fine with the bites. It gives you a lighter tent design, with a low low wind profile, while it remains strong enough if the wind turns at night. It is also easier to promote.
