The executive order of the US President provides a resettlement of the Afrikan “who are victims of racial discrimination.”
US President Donald Trump has offered the white of South Africa that the refugees fleeing persecution may not stimulate the rush he expects completely, as right -wing white lobby groups want to “address injustice” to rule the black majority on the soil of the homeland.
On Friday, Trump signed an executive order to reduce US aid to South Africa, citing the confiscation law signed by President Cyril Ramavusa last month with the aim of compensating for inequality in lands from South Africa’s history of white excellence.
Trump’s resettlement order was provided in the United States to “Afrikanels in South Africa who are victims of non -fair racial discrimination” as refugees.
African is mostly the descendants of eggs from the first Dutch and French settlers, who own the majority of agricultural lands in the country.
“If you don’t have any problems here, why do you want to go?” Neville van der Meroy asked, 78 -year -old retired in Botasij near Cape Town.
“There was no bad (people) really bad, and people continued like usual and know, what would you do there?”
The law signed by Ramavusa seeks to address the discretion of the ownership of racist lands-which left three quarters of the lands owned by private ownership in South Africa in the hands of the white minority-through facilitating the state to confiscate lands in the public interest.
Ramavusa defended politics.
Eggs represent 7.2 percent of the 63 million South African population, and the statistical agency data appears. Data does not break the number of Africans.
Before the independence of South Africa, British colonial rulers handed over most agricultural lands to the eggs. In 1950, the National Party seized racial separation on 85 percent of the land, forcing 3.5 million people from their homes.
The African National Congress in Ramavusa, the largest party in the ruling coalition, says Trump inflays the wrong information published by Averiforum, a group led by Africanner.
The group, which pressed the previous Trump administration regarding its case, said it does not take the offer.
“Immigration provides only an opportunity for Afrikan who wish to risk that they can sacrifice the cultural identity of their grandchildren as Avrikanis. The CEO of Afriforum, Kali Creyle on Saturday, said that the price of this is very simply high.
Separately, the Solidarity Movement – which includes Avrifium and the Union of Solidarity and said it represented about 600,000 African and millions of individuals – expressed its commitment to South Africa.
“We may disagree with the African National Congress Party, but we love our country. As is the case in any society, there are individuals who want to migrate, but returning them to the homeland of Africans as refugees are not a solution for us,” said the Solidarity Movement.
European representatives, Jeep Africanner only in the heart of the country, also rejected Trump’s offer.
“African does not want to be refugees. We love and bind our country.”
Earth policies in South Africa since the end of the apartheid have never participated in the forced seizure of egg -owned lands.
However, some said they appreciate Trump’s offer.
“I think it is a very nice gesture by Donald Trump to bring us asylum there,” said Werner van Nikkir, 57, a carpenter in Bohtasij, without saying whether he will migrate to the United States.
Others saw the funny side.
“Some questions: Is there a test to identify Avrankan? Do you have to have Afriforum membership? … Will Elon help in some startup funds on the other side? … Is there Pakkis (pickup trucks) in the United States?”
